  1. SP #240 Site Plan Amendment: (Carry-Over): Request to convert second floor health club and restaurant space to office/conference; on premises known as 901 North Stuart Street, 900 North Stafford Street & 950 North Stafford Street.

 

C.M. Recommendation: Approve, subject to all previous conditions, and amended Condition #40.

 

  1. SP #1 Site Plan Amendment: Request to convert approx. 65,000 square feet of existing office floor area to be used for a school of higher education; on premises known as 1820 North Fort Myer Drive.

  1. SP #307 Site Plan Amendment: Request to amend Condition #1 to extend term of site plan approval for three additional years (from 10/1/99 to 10/1/2002); on premises known as 333 and 355 Old Jefferson Davis Highway.

C.M. Recommendation: Extend the term of the site plan approval to October 2, 2002, subject to all previous conditions and amended Condition #1.

 

  1. Approval of the Arlington Community Services Board performance Contract with the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services.

     

    C.M. Recommendation: Approve the FY 2000 Performance Contract between the Arlington Community Services Board and the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services.

     

  2. Authorization for a Grant Funded FTE Increase for the Parent Infant Education Program.

     

    C.M. Recommendation: Authorize the increase of a grant-funded position in the Department of Human Services and authorize conversion of the position from temporary to permanent grant funded status.

     

  3. Change in allocation of FY 2000 (CD 25) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.

     

    C.M. Recommendation: Approve the reallocation of funds, previously allocated to YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, for the Nauck Teen Fitness Program to the Recreation Division of the Arlington County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Resources.

     

  4. Approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and County Board concerning a Local Program for Review and Approval of Water Main Distribution Plans.

  5. Award of a Contract for Replacement of Apparatus Bay Garage Doors at Seven County Fire Stations.

  8. Neighborhood Conservation Plan Amendments - Cherrydale.

     

    P.C. Recommendation: Accept the Neighborhood Conservation Plan Amendments.

     

     

    C.M. Recommendation: Approve the amendment to the Cherrydale Neighborhood Conservation Plan to reflect the revised Master Plan for Cherrydale Park.

     

  9. Neighborhood Conservation Plan Amendments - Lyon Park.

    C.M. Recommendation: Approve the amendment to the Lyon Park Neighborhood Conservation Plan to call for the placement of neighborhood signs.

     

  10. Neighborhood Conservation Plan Amendments - Maywood.

     

    P.C. Recommendation: Accept the Neighborhood Conservation Plan Amendments.

     

     

    C.M. Recommendation: Approve the amendment to the Maywood Neighborhood Conservation Plan to include a study and possible installation of pedestrian style streetlights in the Maywood neighborhood.

     

  11. Neighborhood Conservation Plan Amendments - Westover Village.

 

P.C. Recommendation: Accept the Neighborhood Conservation Plan Amendments.

 

 

C.M. Recommendation: Approve the amendments to the Westover Village Neighborhood Conservation Plan to call for the placement of neighborhood signs and support a master planning process for Westover Park.

Recommendation: Adopt recommended findings contained in the report of Public Resources Management Group, Inc., entitled Review of Prime Communications Potomac, LLC, dba CATV Arlington's 1999 FTC Forms 1240 and 1205 filed with Arlington County April 1, 1999, relating to maximum permitted rates for basic cable service and equipment and installation charges for Cable TV Arlington.

Adopt the Ordinance to Amend Certain Subsections of Chapter 11 (Licenses), Chapter 20 (Real Estate Assessment), Chapter 27 (Miscellaneous Ordinances), Chapter 39 (Cigarette Tax), Chapter 40 (Transient Occupancy Tax), Chapter 64 (Short Term Rental Tax) and Chapter 65 (Meal, Food and Beverage Taxation) of the Arlington County Code relating to interest on delinquent taxes.
