b. Authorize the County Manager to submit four (4) DMV Highway Safety Project Grant applications, to be used for certain Police Department highway safety programs .

c.  Authorize the County Manager to submit a bulletproof vest application, and accept the funding if so awarded, to be used to purchase bulletproof vests for police officers .

  1. Authorization to Accept a Deed of Temporary Easement for Public Improvements project adjacent to the Carlton Condominium at 4600 South Mile Run Drive, and a Deed of Temporary Easement, Construction and Wall Maintenance Agreement for Public Improvements project adjacent to 4326 Lee Highway .

  2. Approve a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") between the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments ("COG") and the County Board of Arlington County, Virginia, for a regional Electronic Procurement Initiative .

16. Approval of a Deed of Lease between Arlington County (Tenant) and Street Retail, Inc. Adopt an Ordinance to amend, reenact, recodify Chapter 20 (Real Estate Assessment) of Arlington County Code allowing real estate tax exemption when increase in assessed value of 20% or more is due to substantial rehab of building 50 years of age or older situated in locally designated historic district. (THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA).
