C.M. Recommendation: Approve subject to amended Condition #2 and all previous conditions and with a review in three (3) months. (September 2002)

19. Enactment of an Ordinance to amend, reenact and recodify Chapter 14.2 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic) , Article II, Section 14.2-65.1(a), of the Code of Arlington County, Virginia concerning the designation of bicycle lanes along a portion of Yorktown Boulevard.

C.M. Recommendation: Approve as recommended in the staff report.

20. A. SP #362 Site Plan: McCaffery Interests, Inc., & Virginia Commerce Bank, approx. 76,228 sq. ft. residential g.f.a., and/or up to approx. 50,000 sq. ft. commercial g.f.a., modification of use regulations for coverage, parking, compact car ratio, outdoor seating, exclusion from retail density calculations for approx. 1,547 sq. ft. service corridors & mechanical space; on premises known as 2900, 2930 Wilson Boulevard.

27. Approve an increase of the Contract Amount for the Network Outsourcing Assessment Services and provide for future Information Technology Outsourcing if needed.

30. Authorization to Submit an Application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for 2002 Continum of Care Homeless Assistance Program Shelter Plus Care Grant Funds.

34. Request to Advertise the proposed amendment to Chapter 14.2 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic) to update certain sections of the Arlington Code Pursuant to the 2002 session of the Virginia General Assembly.

C.M. Recommendation: Approve advertising for amendment to Chapter 14.2 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic) of the Arlington County Code to update references to certain sections of the Code of Virginia pursuant to the session of the Virginia General Assembly, to be effective July 1, 2002.

35. Request to Advertise an Ordinance to amend, reenact and recodify Chapter 6 (Civil Service), Section 6-12 (p), of the Code of Arlington County, Virginia, concerning fingerprinting applicants for County employment.

C.M. Recommendation: Approve advertising for public hearing on June 22, 2002, the amendments to Section 6-23 of the Arlington County Code relating to fingerprint-based criminal history record checks for applicants for employment with the County.

36. Request to Advertise Amendments to Chapters 21 and 46 of the Arlington County Retirement Ordinance.

P.C. Recommendation: Approve site plan amendments for the plaza and library/theatre subject to revised Condition #75 on the plaza site plan and for further clarification on the final design and uses allowed in the plaza and signs for the library and Signature Theatre.
