Resolution rescinding a prior County Board resolution of February 7, 1998 establishing a preliminary sidewalk, curb and gutter assessment for Project #481 at 6th Street South, South Courthouse Road to South Walter Reed Drive, account #016.C94/N201, vacating the preliminary assessments, extinguishing the liens, and authorizing refund payments.

C.M. RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the County Board adopt the attached Resolution rescinding a prior County Board Action of February 7, 1998 establishing a preliminary sidewalk, curb and gutter assessment for Project #481 at 6th Street South, South Courthouse Road to South Walter Reed Drive (Account #016.C94/N201), vacating the preliminary assessments, extinguishing the liens created thereby, and authorizing refund payments.
B. Resolution rescinding a prior County Board resolution of September 26, 1998 re-establishing a preliminary sidewalk, curb and gutter assessment for Project #489A at 5th Street North, North Greenbrier Street to North Harrison Street, account #016.D96/BA13, and hereby vacating the preliminary assessments, extinguishing the liens, and authorizing refund payments.

C.M. RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the County Board adopt the attached Amended Resolution rescinding the preliminary assessments for the installation of concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter for Project #489A at 5th Street North, North Greenbrier Street to North Harrison Street, vacating the preliminary assessments, extinguishing the liens, and authorizing refund payments.

13. Priority Project Funding Request for the Neighborhood Conservation (NC) Program.

C.M. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the use of $921,600 of Neighborhood Conservation bond funds and $500,000 PAYGO totaling $1,421,600 for the priority neighborhood projects listed in Attachment 1, as recommended by the Neighborhood Conservation Advisory Committee, and authorize the County Manager to proceed with implementation of these projects.
1 4. Approve an Award of a Contract for the Construction of the Lee Highway Roadway, Streetscape, and Utility Improvements (Phase “D”), between I-66 and North Oakland Street, Invitation to Bid No. 387-02.
C.M. RECOMMENDATION:
1 5. Extend the period to issue Fire Station #3 General Obligation Bonds.

C.M. RECOMMENDATION: Adopt a resolution to request the Circuit Court of Arlington County to extend the period during which the Bonds may be issued for the construction of Fire Station #3 to a ten-year period ending November 8, 2004. (See attached draft Court Order).
